Mechanical Engineering Expert
Job Summary
To support a leading AI lab developing next-generation engineering AI models, the full-time Mechanical Engineering Expert will review, annotate, and evaluate highly technical engineering content, ensuring the accuracy and quality of datasets used for AI training.
Key responsibilities
- Annotate and review CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical diagrams
- Evaluate mechanical engineering and CFD/FEA datasets for technical accuracy and consistency
- Perform quality control (QC) on expert annotations and identify engineering errors
Required qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field
- Strong CAD experience (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, Creo, Fusion 360, or similar)
- 5+ years of professional experience
- Hands-on meshing experience with Gmsh or snappyHexMesh
- Hands-on CFD/FEA simulation experience with OpenFOAM or FEA tools like CalculiX (or similar)
