Job Summary
Supporting structural analysis and substantiation for gas turbine engine components, the remote Mechanical Integrity Engineer will utilize finite element analysis and CAE tools to evaluate designs, document findings, and provide recommendations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform structural and mechanical integrity analysis for gas turbine engine components and systems
- Use finite element analysis and hand calculations to support design decisions and customer requirements
- Document analysis plans, results, and conclusions while participating in technical reviews and discussions
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline
- 2+ years of experience in gas turbine structural analysis or related aerospace structures work
- Strong understanding of low-cycle fatigue, fracture mechanics, and durability principles
- Experience with CAE tools such as ANSYS, Siemens Simcenter, or similar analysis tools
- Must be a U.S. Citizen due to the nature of the work
