Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

Executing mechanical maintenance on equipment and facilities at a hydroelectric plant, the full-time Mechanical Maintenance Technician will ensure availability and reliability in compliance with current regulations and corporate standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the Mechanical Maintenance Plan, adhering to manufacturer recommendations and modern maintenance techniques
• Standardize equipment failures and participate in root cause investigations, proposing necessary modifications
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on various plant equipment, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technician, or related fields
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in electric generation plants
• Availability to work under a camp regime in the Hu nuco Department
• Preferred residency in Hu nuco or Huancayo, with a valid AII driver's license
• Certified 6G welder and specialization in equipment and tools (e.g., mechanical lathe) with SAP usage knowledge
