Job Summary
A company is looking for a Reactor Enclosure System (RES) Mechanical Stress Analysis Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and thermal stress analyses, including fatigue, creep, and creep-fatigue evaluations
- Conduct structural joint configuration evaluations and optimization using established analysis models and methods
- Support component design teams by analyzing specific mechanical issues and providing actionable feedback
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited university
- 5-10 years of relevant mechanical stress analysis experience
- Demonstrated expertise with ASME BPVC Section III, Division 1, including high-temperature applications
- Experience with creep, fatigue, and creep-fatigue analysis methods
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
