Mechanical Supplier Development Engineer

Job Summary

Mechanical Supplier Development Engineer is a full-time position responsible for cultivating supplier partnerships and improving supplier performance in quality, delivery, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage robust improvement plans for suppliers to enhance delivery, quality, and cost performance
• Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams to resolve performance issues and provide technical support
• Conduct supplier assessments and lead efforts to improve design for manufacturing in collaboration with suppliers and engineering teams

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant work experience or equivalent experience
• Experience in developing major machine shops from a technical and performance perspective
• Hands-on machine shop experience is a plus
• Ability to navigate multiple databases for data analysis and supplier collection plans
• Self-starter with assertiveness and goal-driven mindset
