Mechanical Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Mechanical Systems Engineer, the candidate will manage the full life cycle development of in-space electric propulsion products, integrating with technical teams and stakeholders to define requirements and support product development and verification.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall system architecture, including components and interfaces
• Support the integration of thrusters onto spacecraft and meet project objectives
• Develop and maintain key technical documentation, including interface definitions and user guides

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related STEM field
• 15+ years of experience in space systems engineering
• Knowledge of spacecraft/satellite requirements and space industry standards
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on quality and reliability
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
