Mechanism Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mechanism Designer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in research on transaction fee mechanisms, prover coordination, auctioning block-building rights, staking, L2 governance, and more
• Work in a distributed research team, express their research ideas clearly, and know how to argue their findings formally
• Voice their opinions and motivate them or ask for explanations of concepts they are not familiar with

Required Qualifications:

• Strong track record in algorithmic game theory
• Understanding of distributed protocol design
• Familiarity with Ethereum and L2 designs
• Ability to identify mechanism design problems and propose solutions
