Media Relations Manager

Job Summary

Owning the media strategy for a comprehensive PR program, the full-time remote Media Relations Manager will build relationships with AI and business reporters, manage media outreach, and collaborate with the Communications team on product launches and news announcements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute media relations strategy across tier 1, security trades, and non-traditional media
• Maintain and advance relationships with key reporters in AI and cybersecurity
• Conduct day-to-day media pitching and prepare executives for interviews and media opportunities

Required qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in media relations or public relations with established relationships at tier 1 tech or business outlets
• Proven track record of proactive, relationship-driven media work
• Strong judgment on newsworthiness and public communication under pressure
• Excellent writing skills, including drafting and editing press materials
• Experience working directly with senior executives and writing in their voice
