Job Summary
A company is looking for a Mediation and Technical Support Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mediation, facilitation, and dispute resolution services for the Stakeholder Response Mechanism (SRM)
- Provide technical support to the SRM Lead Advisor and contribute to policy reviews and capacity building strategies
- Advise on and implement appropriate case management systems for SRM
Required Qualifications
- Advanced university degree (Master's) in Law, Public Administration, Political or Social Sciences, Humanities, Development Studies, Business Management, or related fields; or a Bachelor's degree with additional qualifying experience
- Minimum of 7 years of international experience in mediation and negotiation, or 9 years with a Bachelor's degree
- Proficiency in IT software packages and advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database management
- Fluency in English; working knowledge of another UN language is an asset
- Experience in mediation related to climate change and environmental issues is desirable
