Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mediation and Technical Support Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead mediation, facilitation, and dispute resolution services, advising complainants on grievance redress avenues
  • Provide technical support to the SRM Lead Advisor and assist in policy review processes
  • Develop capacity-building strategies and knowledge products for Country Offices


Required Qualifications
  • Advanced university degree (Master's) in relevant fields or a Bachelor's degree with additional qualifying experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of international experience in mediation and negotiation, or 9 years with a Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency in IT software packages and experience with web-based management systems
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of another UN language is an asset
  • Experience in mediation related to climate change and environmental issues is desirable
