Medicaid Account Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure accurate reimbursement and timely follow-up throughout the billing lifecycle, the full-time Medicaid Account Resolution Specialist will resolve Medicaid claims after submission while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and resolve pending, on hold, denied, or incorrectly paid Medicaid claims to secure accurate reimbursement
• Evaluate denial reasons, determine corrective actions, and complete timely follow-up to expedite claims payment
• Document all actions taken on claims in the billing system to maintain accurate records and support compliance

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong computer proficiency, including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM with accuracy
• Experience in metrics-driven environments, such as call centers or performance-based roles
• Ability to manage a high volume of work while meeting strict deadlines
