Medicaid Actuary - Washington Licensed

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Actuary with a focus on Medicaid and Value Based Payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of healthcare data and build financial models
• Interpret regulations and write reports for non-technical audiences
• Manage projects, supervise junior staff, and develop client relationships

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field
• ASA designation with 7+ years of healthcare actuarial experience
• At least four years of experience with Value Based Payments, Medicaid, and Medicare
• Minimum of two years leading in the Medicaid managed care environment
• Proficiency with Excel and some knowledge of SAS, SQL, or R
