Medicaid Billing Specialist

Job Summary

Resolving coordination of benefits and engaging patients for information requests, the full-time Medicaid Billing Specialist will manage claim statuses for Medicaid and Workers' Compensation, working remotely while handling inbound and outbound calls.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct online and phone follow-ups on open coordination of benefits and additional information requests
• Handle inbound and outbound call center communications for payors and patients/guarantors
• Facilitate conference calls with patients/guarantors and payors to resolve delayed claims

Required qualifications

• Fluency in English
• Minimum of three years of experience in a healthcare/revenue cycle billing environment
• At least one year of experience in a call center environment
• Above average knowledge of Medicaid and Workers' Compensation payor billing guidelines
• High school diploma, GED, or significant relevant work experience
