Medicaid Business Analyst
Job Summary
To support the implementation of Medicaid Management Information Systems, the fully remote Advisor Business Analyst - Provider+ will act as a domain subject matter expert, translating Medicaid policy into system configurations and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure operational readiness.
Key responsibilities
- Acts as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Medicaid policy and business processes, providing guidance and support during requirements and design sessions
- Supports configuration and implementation activities, ensuring alignment with approved designs and regulatory requirements across various Medicaid domains
- Facilitates client interactions and documentation, leading demos and working sessions to validate solutions against requirements
Required qualifications
- 9+ years of experience in healthcare system implementations, particularly with MMIS and Medicaid Pharmacy platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of state and federal Medicaid policy, regulations, and program rules
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation
- Experience with QNXT or similar healthcare claims/encounter management systems
