Job Summary
Providing essential customer service for Medicaid Long Term Care, the full-time Customer Care Associate will manage calls from requestors and recipients, ensuring all necessary information is gathered and issues are resolved in a timely manner, with a hybrid work arrangement following initial onsite training.
Key responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls for Medicaid Long Term Personal Care, ensuring clarity and professionalism in communication
- Document and address identified problems promptly, routing calls to appropriate units as necessary
- Multi-task effectively through various systems while adhering to departmental timelines
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of two years of customer service or call center experience
- At least one year of experience working with older adults or persons with disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of Medicaid and healthcare for elderly and disabled populations preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
