Medicaid Data Analyst

Job Summary

To support a collaborative healthcare innovations team, the full-time Medicaid and Prescription Drug Data Analyst will manage, analyze, and report on complex datasets while ensuring high-quality data-driven insights in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Apply quantitative methods to manage, analyze, and interpret research data
• Construct, clean, and document large datasets for project-specific needs
• Create customized, presentation-quality reports based on data analysis results

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Epidemiology, Economics, Health Informatics, Computer Science, Public Health, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience with healthcare administrative data, including Medicaid and Medicare
• Experience using SQL and at least one statistical programming language (e.g., R, Python, SAS, or Stata)
• Experience with pharmaceutical pricing data or prescription drug utilization data
• Knowledge of Medicaid policy, financing, and managed care preferred but not required
