Medicaid Eligibility Representative

Job Summary

To support patient assistance efforts, the part-time Outpatient Medicaid Eligibility Representative will screen and interview patients for insurance eligibility, provide accurate documentation, and meet quality standards while working in a hybrid remote environment after initial onsite training in Cleveland, OH.

Key responsibilities

• Screen and interview patients for insurance eligibility in an outbound dialer environment
• Provide thorough, efficient, and accurate documentation of patient interactions
• Meet goals and quality standards through efficient and accurate work activities

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a dialer call center environment preferred
• 1-3 years of previous healthcare eligibility experience preferred
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and knowledge of HIPAA regulations
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Proficient personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with a typing speed of at least 40 WPM
