Medicaid Enrollment Specialist

Job Summary

Providing Medicaid enrollment support and financial assistance services, the full-time Financial Assistance Specialist will assist community-based individuals with the enrollment process while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Screen and assist with all steps of the Medicaid and Charity Care enrollment process
• Gather, verify, evaluate, and enter necessary social, financial, and medical information into applications
• Collaborate with on-site leadership and financial counselors to ensure timely submission of applications based on program guidelines

Required qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Previous enrollment experience in the medical field preferred
• Knowledge of health insurance guidelines
• Ability to work independently in a remote call center environment
• Proficient in typing and effective communication in English; bilingual is a plus
