Job Summary
Leading the strategic response to federal Medicaid changes, the full-time salaried Medicaid Entitlement Strategy Director will oversee the organization's application to become a Medicaid Qualified Entity, implement training protocols, and develop systems to support eligible members across all operating states in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the application process for Medicaid Qualified Entity status, ensuring compliance with state requirements and coordinating staff training
- Oversee the implementation of SOAR training for staff to assist members with SSDI and SSI applications and establish application pipelines through corrections partnerships
- Develop and maintain systems and workflows to help eligible members meet Medicaid requirements, including tracking compliance and facilitating community resource referrals
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, public policy, health administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- 8-10 years of experience in healthcare administration, entitlement services, or social work, with experience in SUD treatment organizations preferred
- Demonstrated experience working with state agencies, government offices, or managed care organizations
- Knowledge of Medicaid policy, eligibility criteria, and the Affordable Care Act
- Proficiency in project management tools and electronic health record platforms
