Medicaid Entitlement Strategy Director

Job Summary

Leading the strategic response to federal Medicaid changes, the full-time salaried Medicaid Entitlement Strategy Director will manage the organization's application to become a Medicaid Qualified Entity, implement training protocols, and develop internal systems for member enrollment and support, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the application process to become a Medicaid Qualified Entity in all eligible states, ensuring compliance and staff training
• Oversee the implementation of SOAR training and establish SSDI/SSI application pipelines through partnerships
• Develop and maintain systems to support eligible members in meeting Medicaid requirements and track compliance milestones

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, public policy, health administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8-10 years of experience in healthcare administration, entitlement services, or social work, preferably in a SUD treatment organization
• Demonstrated experience working with state agencies and Medicaid agencies
• Knowledge of Medicaid policy, eligibility criteria, and the Affordable Care Act
• Proficiency in project management tools and electronic health record platforms
