Medicaid Pharmacy Technical Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting technical execution for MMIS Medicaid Management Information Systems, the full-time remote Medicaid Pharmacy Technical Analyst will manage SQL development, data validation, and system troubleshooting while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are technically sound and aligned with system architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and perform data analysis to troubleshoot system issues
• Coordinate with data conversion teams to validate and reconcile migrated data for accuracy and completeness
• Support testing and deployment activities, ensuring data integrity and system stability throughout the Software Development Life Cycle

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst, Data Analyst, or Healthcare Systems Analyst
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, transformations, and stored procedures
• Experience supporting MMIS, Medicaid, or Medicaid Pharmacy systems
• Strong understanding of healthcare data and Medicaid domains such as Member, Provider, and Claims
