Medicaid Project Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Project Manager to support the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS).

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement complex project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives
• Act as the primary point of contact for client project management and oversee project deliverables
• Identify risks and develop mitigation solutions while managing client expectations and project performance metrics

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of Project Manager experience in Healthcare IT, with at least 3+ years focused on Medicaid MMIS or state-level systems
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in business administration or related fields
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools, including budget development and project planning
• Technical proficiency with ALM tools (e.g., JIRA, Microfocus ALM) and a strong understanding of the SDLC in an Agile/Hybrid environment
• Proven ability to lead client meetings and manage crisis situations effectively
