Medicaid Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medicaid Subject Matter Expert/Data Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direction and recommendations for Medicaid data warehouse implementation and operations
• Lead stakeholders in complex processes related to claims processing, eligibility, and provider enrollment
• Identify state Medicaid agency data needs and propose solutions with validated proof of concepts

Required Qualifications

• Over ten (10) years of IT experience, with five (5) years working with State Medicaid agencies
• More than two (2) years of experience with CMS Federal Reporting projects
• Understanding of claims, recipient eligibility, and provider enrollment data processes
• Ability to perform data analysis using SQL and Excel on large datasets
• Knowledge of CMS reporting requirements and covered programs
