Medicaid Support Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medicaid Support Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with state Medicaid professionals and assist families with Medicaid and Waiver applications
• Review applications for eligibility and provide alternative resources for ineligible families
• Support enrollment teams and document processes for Medicaid and waiver approvals

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in health care or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
• 4-6 years of experience in health care, with 2+ years in Medicaid and government programs
• Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships with diverse groups
• Proficiency in multiple systems and strong MS Office skills
• Bi-lingual skills preferred
