Medicaid Team Lead

Job Summary

Overseeing a team of Eligibility & Application Support Specialists, the full-time Medicaid Team Lead will manage case submissions and closures while fostering team performance in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Directly oversee a team of 3-4 people, including hiring and training new staff
• Conduct performance reviews and address any disciplinary issues as necessary
• Evaluate cases and provide guidance to ensure timely processing of Medicaid applications

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a people management role
• Working knowledge of long-term Medicaid, including application processing and eligibility rules
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
• Proficiency in Google Suite, particularly Google Sheets, and experience with document management
