Medicaid Technical Analyst

Job Summary

To support a large state Health and Human Services agency, the part-time Medicaid Technical Requirements Analyst will analyze notice generation processes, document technical requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze current-state notice generation processes and document related business rules and system dependencies
• Develop detailed notice-level requirements and design specifications for system integrators and development teams
• Support testing preparation and participate in requirements workshops and stakeholder meetings

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Technical Analyst, or Requirements Analyst in Medicaid or human services systems
• Experience documenting business and functional requirements, technical specifications, and process workflows
• Strong understanding of eligibility systems, notice generation processes, and data mapping
• Experience developing traceability matrices and implementation-ready requirements packages
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in Medicaid eligibility or public assistance systems
