Job Summary
Managing a portfolio of legal and liability accounts, the full-time Medical A/R Specialist will ensure timely resolution and maximum reimbursement while working remotely and serving as the primary contact for attorneys, paralegals, and insurance carriers.
Key responsibilities
- Manage an assigned portfolio of legal and liability accounts from initial follow-up through final resolution
- Communicate directly with attorneys, paralegals, and insurance carriers regarding outstanding balances and claim status
- Negotiate settlements and payment arrangements within established company guidelines
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare accounts receivable or medical collections experience
- Experience managing legal, liability, or attorney-related accounts
- Strong negotiation skills
