Medical Accounts Receivable Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Accounts Receivable Assistant to support patient collections remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient account balances for accuracy
• Place outbound calls to collect payments and/or set up payment plans
• Investigate patient billing inquiries and provide support as needed

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year of outbound patient collections experience in the medical industry
• Ability to read and interpret an Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
