Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Specialist 2.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and obtain patient eligibility and authorization for healthcare services
• Conduct research on unpaid or denied claims and contact payers for payment resolution
• Secure medical documentation and prepare claims for clinical audit processing when necessary

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 3 years of experience in healthcare insurance accounts receivable follow-up
• Experience with billing errors, claim resubmission, and payment follow-up
• Knowledge of accounts receivable practices and third-party payer billing procedures
• At least two years of experience with accounts receivable software
