Key Responsibilities

• Verify patient eligibility and authorization for healthcare services
• Conduct research on unpaid or denied claims and contact payers for payment
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations while managing accounts receivable

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least three years of experience in healthcare insurance accounts receivable
• Experience with accounts receivable software and navigating payer sites
• Knowledge of medical business office procedures and third-party payer billing
• Demonstrated ability to meet productivity requirements of 55 claims per day
