Job Summary
Leading the Medical Affairs organization across ICON markets, the remote Head of ICON, Medical Affairs will develop and execute regional strategies, ensuring alignment with global priorities while fostering strong partnerships with commercial and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Medical Affairs across Central/South America, MEA, and APAC, ensuring regional strategy execution and performance management
- Partner with the Commercial Head of ICON to maintain cross-functional alignment and support regional priorities, including launch readiness and patient access
- Build and develop high-performing medical teams across diverse countries, driving consistent medical excellence and strategic execution
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific or clinical degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent) strongly preferred
- Significant Medical Affairs leadership experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, particularly in international markets
- Proven ability to translate global medical strategy into regional execution
- Strong cross-functional leadership experience, particularly with Commercial, Market Access, and Regulatory teams
- Experience with rare diseases or complex therapeutic areas preferred
