Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Medical Appeals Coordinator will manage the review, scanning, and processing of incoming appeals while preparing necessary correspondence for clients and providers.

Key responsibilities
  • Review, copy, and prepare documentation for incoming appeals
  • Sort, prep, key, and scan appeals and relevant information in DocuVantage
  • Create coversheets for responses and miscellaneous mail requiring scanning
Required qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 - 2 years of administrative experience required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience in healthcare, claims, or the insurance industry preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel
