Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Medical Appeals Coordinator will manage the review, scanning, and processing of incoming appeals while preparing necessary correspondence for clients and providers.
Key responsibilities
- Review, copy, and prepare documentation for incoming appeals
- Sort, prep, key, and scan appeals and relevant information in DocuVantage
- Create coversheets for responses and miscellaneous mail requiring scanning
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 1 - 2 years of administrative experience required
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience in healthcare, claims, or the insurance industry preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel
