Medical Appeals Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Appeals Representative responsible for reviewing carrier denials and submitting appeals in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Review ETM task list assignments and rebill/appeal claims as necessary
• Determine appropriate actions for denials based on carrier requirements and post rejection codes
• Identify trends in claims and participate in department meetings to improve processes

Required Qualifications

• One year of medical billing experience
• Knowledge of physician billing policies and procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Computer literate with the ability to work independently
• Excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
