Medical Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Assistant for their remote full-time position in virtual care operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with virtual intake, care coordination, patient outreach, insurance navigation, and eligibility checks
• Collect patient health history, schedule appointments, update records, and perform standard medical assistant clinical competencies
• Liaise with external facilities, produce correspondence, and perform other related duties as required

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of medical office or clinical-related experience
• Experience in maintaining patient records and documentation
• State-mandated medical assistant certifications
• Practical understanding of medical terminology, HIPAA policies, and informed consent
• Proficiency with modern EMRs, Apple and iOS hardware and operating systems, and familiarity with Google Suite
