Medical Assistant - Licensed Ambulatory Assistant
Job Summary
A healthcare facility is seeking a Medical Assistant for an Ambulatory Resource role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks in an ambulatory setting under supervision
- Participate as a member of the healthcare team and carry out designated activities within legal limits
- Adhere to patient care plans, organizational policies, and principles of relationship-based care
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Graduate from a Medical Assistant diploma or associate degree program
- One year of recent medical assistant experience if graduation was over two years ago
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA), registration (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
