Job Summary

A company is looking for a Prior Authorization Medical Assistant in Neurology.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain insurance approvals by researching ICD-10 coding and completing authorization forms
• Interact with staff and Patient Accounts to share information and resolve billing issues
• Maintain electronic files and documentation while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School diploma or GED required; graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
• Medical Assistant certification preferred
• Minimum of one year of Medical Assistant or similar clinical experience preferred
• Experience in customer service relations and/or office experience preferred
