Medical Assisting Adjunct Faculty

Job Summary

To provide quality instruction in Medical Assisting courses, the part-time remote Medical Assisting Adjunct Faculty will teach, assess student performance, and facilitate a positive learning environment for students enrolled in Medical Assisting I and II.

Key responsibilities

• Teaching courses according to the specified curriculum and outcomes set by the Lead Faculty
• Assessing and evaluating student assignments, including exams and other course-related activities
• Advising students on course-related work and maintaining regular communication through office hours and discussions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and medical assistant certification (CCMA, CMAA, CMA, RMA)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a clinical role
• 1-3 years of teaching experience in a post-secondary health professions program
• Knowledge of higher education regulations and compliance
• Computer proficiency and strong organizational skills
