Medical Bill Repricing Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely within PA, NJ, or DE, the Medical Bill Repricing Specialist will review, evaluate, and process workers' compensation medical bills to ensure accurate reimbursement in compliance with state regulations and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate workers' compensation medical bills for accuracy and compliance with reimbursement guidelines and regulations
• Contact medical providers to obtain necessary information for processing bills and resolve discrepancies
• Generate and review Explanation of Reimbursement documents to ensure correct payment rationale is communicated

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of experience in claims processing, medical billing, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and ability to process high volumes of work accurately
• Proficiency in relevant computer systems and data entry skills
• Ability to interpret and apply policies and reimbursement guidelines effectively
