Job Summary

To support a specialized healthcare facility, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed Medical Biller will prepare, review, and submit accurate claims to various payers while ensuring compliance with regulations in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance providers
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and payer-specific rules to minimize denials
• Support the accounts receivable process to facilitate efficient collections and timely reimbursement

Required qualifications

• Minimum of five years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle or facility billing experience
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Accounting, or related field preferred
• Experience with hospital billing strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance reimbursement
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
