Medical Biller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Biller to manage claims and billing processes in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process rejections and denials, escalating trends as identified
• Contact third-party insurance payers for claims resolution
• Generate appeals and reprocess claims as necessary

Required Qualifications

• 2-3 years of previous Medical Billing experience
• Experience with MS Word and Google Sheets
• Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of claims
• Preferred coding/billing certification from AAPC, Practice Management Institute, or AHIMA
• Experience in billing for addiction medicine or telemedicine is a plus
