Medical Biller

Job Summary

To support efficient billing operations, the full-time remote Medical Biller will review insurance denials, verify patient information, and manage outstanding accounts to ensure timely claims processing and maximum reimbursement.

Key responsibilities

• Review insurance denials and rejections to determine appropriate action steps for resolution
• Verify patient demographic information and insurance eligibility to facilitate claims processing
• Analyze accounts for proper claims processing and payment posting while maintaining productivity metrics

Required qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in medical billing
• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of physician billing processes, ICD-10, and CPT coding
• Experience with GE patient management system preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and staff
