Job Summary

To support the billing department, the full-time Follow Up Biller will manage insurance collections, pursue claim payments, and resolve denials while working remotely during day shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Research and pursue claim payments from various insurance carriers
• Follow up on rejections by verifying insurance status and account information
• Manage billing edits and respond to interdepartmental requests to resolve billing issues

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 2+ years of medical billing experience with third-party carriers
• Knowledge of medical billing practices, coding, and reimbursement procedures
• Proficient in MS Office and other computer skills
