Medical Biller

Job Summary

To support revenue cycle functions, the full-time Medical Biller will submit medical claims to insurance companies, review unpaid claims, and assist patients with billing inquiries in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Submit and manage medical claims to insurance companies, including Medicare and Medicaid
• Review and appeal unpaid and denied claims while processing patient and insurance refund requests
• Assist patients in verifying benefit information and setting up payment plans

Required qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in medical billing
• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Internet
• Knowledge of chemical dependency and its effects is preferred
