Medical Biller II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Biller II to manage insurance claims and billing processes in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies following mandated guidelines
• Ensure proper claim submission and payment through review and correction of errors and denials
• Investigate and follow up with payers on assigned claims and perform billing adjustments

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role
• Experience with EPIC system preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes, as well as medical billing practices
