Job Summary

Supporting a complex hospital client environment, the fully remote Medical Biller II will manage billing data and medical claims submissions, ensure compliance with productivity standards, and resolve billing discrepancies while maintaining accuracy under high-volume conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies according to guidelines
• Review and correct claim edits, errors, and denials to ensure proper hospital claim submission and payment
• Investigate and follow up with payers on assigned claims, achieving maximum reimbursement for services provided

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
• 2+ years of work experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role
• Experience with Meditech system preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and virtual meeting platforms
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes, as well as medical billing regulations
