Job Summary

To support healthcare revenue cycle operations, the fully remote Medical Biller II will manage billing data and medical claims submissions to insurance companies, ensuring compliance with guidelines and resolving any billing issues for optimal reimbursement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies in accordance with regulations
• Review and correct claim edits, errors, and denials to ensure proper claim submission and payment
• Investigate and follow up with payers on assigned claims to achieve maximum reimbursement

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role
• Experience with the EPIC system preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and virtual meeting platforms
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes and medical billing regulations
