Job Summary

To support healthcare organizations, the fully remote Medical Biller II will manage the preparation and submission of billing data and medical claims to insurance companies, ensuring compliance with guidelines and resolving billing rejections.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies while adhering to federal, state, and payer guidelines
• Investigate and resolve billing rejections, errors, and denials to ensure timely claim resolution and maximum reimbursement
• Collaborate with client teams and maintain productivity standards while achieving quality levels in billing processes

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role
• Experience with the EPIC system preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and virtual meeting platforms such as GoToMeeting and Zoom
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes as well as medical billing regulations
