Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Medical Biller II will manage the submission and resolution of insurance claims, ensuring compliance with guidelines and maximizing reimbursement for healthcare services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies according to mandated guidelines
• Resolve billing rejections and errors, ensuring timely claim submission and payment
• Collaborate with client teams to support the financial success of healthcare organizations

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role
• Experience with the EPIC system preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., GoToMeeting, Zoom)
• Knowledge of ICD-10 codes and medical billing practices
