Job Summary

Ensuring accurate and timely claim submissions, the fully remote Medical Biller III will manage hospital medical claims, including reviewing and correcting claim errors and denials while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Submit hospital medical claims in accordance with federal, state, and payer guidelines
• Research and analyze claim errors and rejections, making necessary corrections
• Investigate and follow up on claims, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with company procedures

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
• 4+ years of experience with health insurance companies in securing payment for medical claims
• 3+ years of experience with billing hospital claims and filing appeals
• Experience using clearing house systems such as Waystar or Quadex
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various desktop applications
