Medical Biller - Mental Health

Job Summary

To support a growing mental health practice, the part-time Medical Biller - Mental Health will manage the end-to-end life cycle of revenue, handle insurance verification, and submit claims while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client billing processes, including insurance verification and claims submission
• Monitor and report on active claims and client account balances
• Engage with clients regarding billing inquiries and collaborate with therapists on outstanding information

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in medical billing
• Competency in billing software and electronic medical records
• Knowledge of medical insurance billing, deductibles, and copays
• Proficient in the use of Office 365
